What Is Cappings Beeswax?
Cappings wax is the layer of beeswax used by honeybees to seal finished honeycomb cells. It is removed when honey frames are opened for extraction and is generally among the newest wax produced in the hive.
This Canadian cappings wax is filtered to one micron to remove fine debris, producing a smooth and versatile beeswax suitable for a variety of creative projects.
