Applying vinyl stickers is a simple and satisfying activity that can be done alone or turned into a fun project with friends or family. It’s a chance to get creative — arranging your stickers on surfaces like a collage, mixing colors, shapes, and themes to create a cohesive look. Whether you’re covering a notebook or sprucing up your bike, the act of peeling and sticking is surprisingly therapeutic and always enjoyable, providing a quick and easy way to personalize your belongings.

Artist Statement: One of the jewel zones within Squamish. The Crumpit Woods area is unique in its trail aesthetic. Endless winding trails through thick rainforest. When you do pop out of the woods, you are greeted with this angle back into Squamish. Often you will see a dramatic sky like the one depicted here. "God rays" cutting their lines into the ocean as the sun does what it can to break through. I don't often put objects in my paintings, and would have maybe considered removing that ship. In this case however, it is a very important part of the composition.

This image also features the old spit if you look closely.

Original acrylic on canvas sold into a private collection in Squamish.
