How to Burn Your Milk Jar Candle

1. Allow the candle to reach room temperature before lighting.
2. Trim the wooden wick to approximately 2–3 mm before every burn.
3. During the first burn, keep the candle lit for at least one hour and allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the vessel.
4. Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts.
5. If the flame becomes unusually large, extinguish the candle, trim the wick and relight it once safe.

Candle safety: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, bedding, curtains, decorations and other flammable materials. Do not move the candle while the wax is melted, and always follow the safety instructions on the bottom of the vessel.
