Prairie Chick Prints

Hi I’m Crystal, designer and maker at Prairie Chick Prints. I'm from Alberta and grew up with my dad's funny side and my mom's love of beauty. Always a creative, I went to university to paint, but felt nervous about selling art at galleries. That experience introduced me to graphic design, which was both creative and practical, so I stayed at the Alberta University of the Arts to get my Bachelor of Design. I worked as a graphic designer in Calgary for 10 years, doing lots of amazing projects. But the passion to make my own ideas was missing.
