Each 4" stick burns for about 45 mins.
The maker creates ratio of makko for burning purposes and then acacia gum and water are used to bind it. And that is it! No more ingredients, chemicals, oils, or toxic smoke.
In the first step, I make a cedar and sage incense just like I make any of my other incense sticks (with ground cedar and sage, makko and acacia gum mixed with water). After it dries thoroughly, I re-dip it in the acacia gum-water and roll it in powdered frankincense which sticks to the outside. Then I dip it in acacia gum-water one final time to keep the frankincense resin from falling off.
I'd like to start by saying they have an enormous selection. There's something for everyone. I bought a mixture of items from hot sauce to cleaning supplies. The items arrived well packaged, it was a little bit like Christmas! Based upon my purchases, this shop takes great care in determining who their vendors are. Everything is of great quality.
